ABOUT

Phebean Gbondo is a Sierra Leonean Singer and Songwriter. She grew up in the Catholic faith
and joined the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of Holy Cross Parish, Kissy, Freetown.
Where she started to demonstrate her vocal ability.

Between 2012 and 2017, she unavoidably embraced the call to add a voice to the songs of gospel artists like:

Bro Mattia Koidimo, Bro Moses and Bro Pa.Thomas A. Sesay.
She helped compose the CYO-Holy Cross gospel album in 2013
and also contributed to the CYO-Archdiocesan Ebola Sensitization song in 2014,
she featured in the Year of Faith song in 2016,
declared by the Catholic Church.

Achievements

She came to prominence in 2018 after wining the
“Best Upcoming Gospel Artist of the Year“.
At the Sierra Leone National Gospel Awards (SLNGA) 2018.
Furthermore, She released her debut album “I Will Sing” in the same year,
under the record label “Phebean’s Music”.

A graduate with Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from Fourah Bay College.
