Pete is a gospel Music Minister and songwriter, registered well over a 1000 songs
he is a music director in his Church and also a multi-Instrumentalist
He is a massive composer, and plays the Keyboard, Guitar, Drums,
Petros Consistently continues to run his TV shows and is also a full time pastor of a church
MUSIC
After returning back to Sierra Leone in 2001
He became assistant director of music for Dockyard youth fellowship in 2002
In 2003 he became the Freetown District Director of music until 2011
Petros recorded a first album “I Say Wow” with “the Livites music group”, a group he also formed in 2003
In 2010, Petros recorded his second album “When last did you Pray” with the Jui Gospel choir.
This album sold over 800 copies in the US and 500 copies in Kampala.
He went to Lagos (Nigeria) in 2011 where he sang with the “Christ Family Church Choir”
and also hosted two concerts in Ikorodu and mainland respectively.
Petros later Signed up with Rozinka academy as an operatic tenor singer in thesame year.
And had his first break on TV for the song “Repent of your Sins“
After hosting the morning dew valentines dinner and concert
and the 2nd Audition of the August worship in 2013,
Petros also hosted a “Night with Stars a child benefit concert” (In collaboration with Harmony International)
and also recorded 4 songs, “The Prodigal“, “Tonight“, “What we Fight For,”
and “Make a Change“
In 2014, he hosted the last August Worship concert and started the Vocal Drift Inspire concept,
as support to the fight against EBOLA, Petros Dalton released a single on the Ebola fight in thesame year,
he was also “Director of music for Freetown Choir”
and recorded an album with two benefit concerts during that period.
His impact and support to the society gained him alot of popularity within and outside the country.
He recorded 6 tracks with the Dolans of 6wix band,
followed with performances in Washington and Falcroft Pennsylvania.
AWARDS
After releasing his single “Call him Oluwa” in 2017, he won series of awards:
- Nexte Heirs Africa awards: Entertainer of the Year (2017).
- Turning point Award: Best Single (2017).
He was also ranked among the 50 most influential Sierra Leoneans in 2017 & 2018 respectively.
In 2019, Petros released a single “Hands off our Girls” in support of the first ladies Flagship campaign
Pete also host the 2019 Vocal Drift Season 4 on going.
